This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Stronger than any first party race and uses incomplete and incorrect wording throughout. The traits need to be mechanically worded correctly as they are often vague. Grants a scalable Barbarian Rage. Allows one to take normal activity through their armor while gaining the benefits of a rest. 'Expertise' in stealth. At will, no limits, misty step. Adding Con Score to HP max? +5 ASI. ASI increases by 2 while not in armor? RW&H Table is incorrect. Overall poorly executed and needs a rework both from a mechanic and lore perspective to better integrate with the first party content. The overview table summarises the damage bonuses against each enemy. Note that if you are running in a team where everyone has corrosive projection then the enemies lose their armour and you should look against the flesh type instead. Generally you want to pick the damage. Higher attack speed= your weapon attacks at faster rate=higher amount of hits but usually that costs some dmg, also how can something as basic as attack speed be confusing, it increases the speed at which you attack and the animation follows that so you get more hits but with zaws you have to give up some dmg to get higher attack speed.

History[edit]

Tenno look like humans and may have even been human at some point. Little is known about them but many of them have metallic markings, or large scars in and on their bodies, indicating that at some point they were slaves to very rich beings. At some point they were infected by a vast entity known as The Void and were granted uncontrollable magical powers that both derive from and are part of the void. They learned how to use this void energy to possess suits of armor and more properly channel their newfound powers through them.

Society[edit]

Tenno almost always live alone with nothing more than maybe a pet. They generally avoid society not out of fear or anger, just because they don’t see a need to. They are known to meet other Tenno and those trusted into their society from time to time in secret locations.

Tenno Traits[edit]

A race of humanoids whose powers hail from the void.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity increases by +2 and you Constitution increases by +1. Your Charisma also increases by 2 when not in your armor
Age. Due to their construction and connection to their abilities, Tenno do not age.
Alignment. Tenno are usually Lawful, but can be any alignment.
Size. You're human in nature so your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet when not in armor. When in armor it is increased to 35 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Void Stealth. Tenno gain proficiency in Stealth, and if you are already proficient you add double your proficiency modifier.
Second Dream. When sleeping you maintain control of your chosen armor and can control it while you sleep instead of having dreams.
Void Step. While stealthed you can teleport as many feet as your walking speed within your sight as a bonus action. This can only be used while you are stealthed and not in your armor.
Void Purify. The void passively cleanses your body of any affliction that would normally turn you undead.
Fearless.Intimidation and Effects that would apply fear to you have disadvantage. If the effect fails, you are sent into a rage equivalent to a Barbarian of equal level (See Barbarian Rage PHB Page 48).
Transference. When not in armor your spells are uncontrollable and you have to roll higher than an 18 to hit, even if you wouldn’t normally have to roll to hit. You can use a ritual that takes a short rest but lasts until you switch armor or it is destroyed. The ritual links you to the armor giving the ability to enter any specially made armor in a non physical form. This allows you to cast spells normally. While like this you add your total Constitution to your hp. The armor is made out of special metal and is basically it’s own creature. You can teleport to the armor and walk out of it while in combat losing hp equal to your total Constitution but gaining other traits, being forced back into the armor when your hp hits 0. You can only teleport back when not in combat. Your armor being destroyed will not kill you but you will have to make new armor. If your armor is destroyed or not linked you can be killed. When not in armor you the use of other Racial Traits but lose your Constitution and you cannot cast spells from your class.
Languages. You can speak, read and write Common, and the primary language of your captors
